Khái niệm – phương pháp câu trực tiếp/ gián tiếp

Cách chuyển câu thẳng sang con gián tiếp

Để chuyểncâu trực tiếpsang gián tiếpthì bạn chỉ việc ghép câu chữ tường thuật vào phía đằng sau câu nói, lùi thì của đụng từ xuống 1 cấp quá khứ, đại từ sẽ thay đổi linh hoạt.

Thay đổi thời gian và địa điểm

Thời gian và địa điểm thường phải đổi khác khi đưa từ câu trực tiếp sang loại gián tiếp.

Các câu đổi khác thời gian với địa điểm

Lưu ý: đại từ nhân xưng biến đổi thành số ít hoặc số nhiều của ngôi máy ba, không tính khi tín đồ nói tường thuật bằng ngữ điệu của họ:

Thay đổi thì(tense) khi thực hiện câu con gián tiếp:

Nếu hễ từ trần thuật (reporting verb) của câu làm việc thì vượt khứ thì đề nghị lùi cồn từ bao gồm về thừa khứ một bậc khi chuyển từ lời nói trực tiếp (direct speech) sang khẩu ca gián tiếp (indirect / reported speech) theo luật lệ sau:

Thay thay đổi thì(tense) khi sử dụng câu gián tiếp

*Lưu ý: bạn không cần biến đổi thì nếu động từ trần thuật ở bây giờ hoặc nếu tuyên bố thuở đầu là về một điều nào đó vẫn đúng, ví dụ:

He sayshe has missedthe train buthe’ll catchthe next one.

We explained thatit isvery difficult to lớn find our house.

Những rượu cồn từ khiếm khuyết này không biến hóa trong lời nói gián tiếp:might, could, would, should, ought to:

We explained, “Itcouldbe difficult to lớn find our house.” = We explained that itcouldbe difficult lớn find our house.

She said, “Imightbring a friend khổng lồ the party.” = She said that shemightbring a friend khổng lồ the party.

Thông thường vật dụng tự trường đoản cú được sử dụng trong các câu hỏi được tường thuật, sẽ là chủ tự đứng trước động từ cùng không cần thiết phải áp dụng ‘do’ hoặc ‘did’:

Loại câu hỏi này được chuyển sang dạng được tường thuật bằng cách sử dụng ‘ask’ (hoặc động từ khác ví như ‘ask’) + tự đặt câu hỏi + mệnh đề. Mệnh đề cất câu hỏi, theo trang bị tự từ thường thì và cùng với sự biến đổi thì yêu cầu thiết:

Câu tường thuật gián tiếp : mệnh lệnh, yêu thương cầu, đề nghị(orders, requests và suggestions)

Tường thuật con gián tiếp nghĩa vụ và yêu thương cầu:

Khi chúng ta muốn tường thuật con gián tiếp một bổn phận hoặc yêu thương cầu, chúng ta có thể sử dụng một cồn từ như ‘tell’ với cùng một mệnh đề -to: He told me khổng lồ go away.

Mẫu câu: động từ bỏ + túc từ loại gián tiếp + mệnh đề -to. Túc từ con gián tiếp là bạn được nói đến.

Các động từ khác được thực hiện để tường thuật con gián tiếp những mệnh lệnh và yêu cầu theo phong cách này là: command, order, warn, ask, advise, invite, beg, teach, & forbid.

Túc tự yêu mong for trong câu tường thuật dùng mẫu câu “asked for” + túc từ.

Sự đề nghị

Sử dụng những động từ như suggest, insist, recommend, demand, request, với propose theo sau mệnh đề -that.

Lời cảnh báo, xin lỗi

Chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể thuật lại các loại câu này bằng phương pháp dùng “say” , “ask”, hoặc chúng ta cũng có thể sử dụng offer, warn, apologize v.v.

“I can lend you some money.” (“Tôi có thể cho mình mượn không nhiều tiền được không.”)

Sue offered khổng lồ lend me some money. (Sue đề xuất cho tôi mượn ít tiền.)
